Since the company’s formation it has grown from a small manufacturer of Implantable Pacemakers and accessories to a recognized leader in the design and manufacture of implantable artificial devices. Growth and success have not altered the original objectives of the company, which is “To serve the medical community and to contribute to the improvement quality of life for mankind”.

Even with the most advanced equipments available in the industry, this means nothing without the human capability to make it perform. At Bio Pace Technology, advanced technology is the ability to recognize a need, evaluate all available input and produce a solution in useable product form.

The Bio Pace Technology’s R&D Team is a select group of experienced electronic, chemical, medical and mechanical engineers well-versed in the critical areas of biochemistry and electrophysiology. The group also works in close contact with Quality Assurance personnel to help maintain rigid control over the numerous steps involved in production and test procedures. In 1989, thru R&D, Bio Pace Technology in association with Coratomic Inc. and Cardio Pace Medical USA, was able to develop a cost effective, integrated circuitry non-programmable pacemaker for its client and partner in India by the name of Shree Pacetronix Ltd.. Thru this association Bio Pace was instrumental in developing and transferring Pacemaker Technology to India for providing people with cost effective and quality Implantable Pacemakers and its accessories.

For more than a decade , all of Biopace OBL brand of pacemakers are assembled by Shree Pacetronix Ltd., in India, under strict guidance and processes and total GMP’s for distribution of Biopace products throughout India and the Globe. This association which is approved by Government of India, helps to bring our products in reach of all socio-economic areas of the Globe.

Today at Bio Pace Technology continued involvement with new product design and existing product improvement. Projects include external and implantable insulin dispensers, infusion pumps for drug therapy, polymeric heart valves, mechanical heart valves, muscle titanic stimulators, defibrillators, nuclear battery design, artificial arteries, and a variety of pacing electrode designs.

The health care industry is in the midst of rapid change. More sophisticated products are needed, more reliability is expected, in certain areas cost effectiveness is a growing reality. We have and will address these changes with positive solutions.
